This was originally knitted for a tea towel swap in the Ravelry Cuppa Tea? Group, with Ornaghi Filati Natural (cotton/linen blend). It’s adapted from the Lily Sugar’n Cream Table Runner, the original pattern and chart can be found here.
Materials: Cotton or linen yarn
Main colour – I used 2½ 50g balls
Contrast A – about 25g
Contrast B – about 25g
Needles: Size 4.5mm (US 7)
Note: To change colours, twist the two colours around each other where they meet, on WS, to avoid a hole.

Hey! Those look familiar! 🙂
I’d just like to say that I was the lucky recipient, and I LOVE the towel and coasters. They make my kitchen and living room look so nice. Chana did a great job knitting them and it makes me feel special knowing they were made just for me. This would be a great gift for someone special! 🙂

Hi, I made one of these recently. I like the result but would just like to point out that the photo attached to the pattern seems to be wrong, because the changes back to the main colour after the stripes show a line that is not there if the pattern is followed, and also the colours aren’t in the right order. Just saying … I can show you a photo of my completed tea towel if you like.
