Artemis

Quick post before bedtime.

The new yarn is dry.  I’ve named the colour Artemis.

Artemis was one of the most widely venerated of the Ancient Greek deities. In the classical period of Greek mythology, Artemis was often described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of forests and hills, child birth, virginity, fertility, the hunt, and often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows.

The pictures don’t show the purple as well as they should, in reality it’s less pink and more lilac.  Maybe I’ll take new pictures tomorrow.

Can’t wait to find a good pattern for it.

In the meantime I’ve cast on for the Bitterroot shawl.

(I’m almost done with the Ameeta scarf, so it’s ok.  Really.)
